IF YOU'RE THE WOMAN WHO...
Answers one more email at 10pm so tomorrow feels lighter (it never does)…
Who wakes up at 3am with a tight chest and a to-do list already running…
Who finally gets a quiet Saturday and can’t settle into it. You reach for your phone. Check the inbox. Find something to organize. Anything to manage.
Who takes the vacation and spends the first four days just coming down. And by the time your body finally unclenches, it’s time to fly home.
Who’s the first call when something needs handling. At work. At home. For your friends. For your mother.
Who has, more than once, fantasized about getting in the car, driving somewhere quiet, and checking into a hotel alone. Not forever. Just long enough for no one to need anything from you.
And then felt guilty for wanting it.
These letters are for you.
Burnout doesn’t always look like burnout.
Sometimes it looks like a woman who’s still performing. Still showing up. Still carrying everything that needs to be carried.
From the outside, she’s thriving. She’s the one people point to.
On the inside, she hasn’t heard her own voice in years. Her best ideas only show up in the shower, because it’s the one place left where no one needs an answer from her.
She tells herself it’s just a season.
She tells herself she should be more grateful.
She tells herself that if she were just a little more disciplined, a little more organized, it would finally feel manageable.
And if that’s the story you’ve been telling yourself, I want you to hear this: nothing is wrong with you.
There's a reason high-achieving women end up here, and it's far more common than anyone admits out loud.
This is what I write about.
Hi, I'm Julie.
I’m a Johns Hopkins graduate, former Wall Street analyst, president of “everything” in college: sorority, student council, a cappella… you name it.
I was born a high-achiever, and throughout my entire life, I was made into one too.
I burned out twice before I understood what was actually happening underneath the surface.
And what I found changed everything. I didn’t have to give up my ambition to get my life back.
Since then, I’ve helped 15,000 women banish burnout and reclaim a life they feel alive inside. Women who kept the career, the drive, the big beautiful life they built… and finally started enjoying it.
These letters are where I get to talk to you directly, written the way I’d talk to you if we were sitting across the table from each other.
Inside the letters
WHAT HIGH-ACHIEVING WOMEN RARELY SAY OUT LOUD...
And the bigger questions underneath all of it. Why rest doesn’t feel restful. Why quitting doesn’t always fix it. Why so many ambitious women quietly lose track of who they are outside of work, and how to find your way back without burning down everything you’ve built.
No productivity hacks. No 5-step morning routines. No one telling you to take a bubble bath.
Just honest conversations, landing in your inbox whenever I have something worth saying.
