She had previously found herself in burnout, overwhelmed in a managerial role and quit her job. She tried therapy, rehab, and other external resources to try and get her life back. None of it worked long term. She knew she needed the tools, habits, and new behaviors.

CHALLENGES

Amanda has always been very driven and career-focused. After giving her all to a project that left her feeling depleted, unmotivated, and misaligned, she struggled to have a consistent work-life balance. She works in the consulting landscape and for months she found herself working intense 90-hour work weeks. Work consumed her life and seemed to amplify her perfectionist persona.

“I was lost. I fell victim to the same type of cycle and bad habits of putting my all and giving 110% into one thing which typically ended up being work-related and I just had enough. I felt hopeless. I felt alone,” said Amanda. 

She was running herself into the ground with no free time to do anything. Working 12-hour days was impacting her health and her relationship with her husband. He was supportive of her work, but noticed she was too exhausted to keep doctor appointments, personal appointments, or even hang out with friends. Amanda was not getting enough sleep and working late hours and early mornings was taking a toll on her. 

She felt, “this trickle effect… in this purgatory…trickling into like my health and not having weekends, no separation. So, mentally, physically, emotionally, it really took a strain.”

She got to the end of her rope and knew how she was living was not sustainable. As a result of being stressed, not sleeping enough, and not taking care of herself by being glued to her monitor, she was diagnosed with chronic migraines. She knew she had to do something to change her life and get her health and life back on track.  

RESULTS

Instead of staying stuck and continuing to power through, Amanda was committed to gaining clarity and solving the root issues of her old patterns. After signing up to work with us she learned to set boundaries, prioritize herself, and take breaks during the day instead of just pushing through. Amanda is no longer ignoring her body.

Two months into our program, her migraines decreased by 60%. She reduced her workload by more than 50% and is working less than 50 hours a week. She is able to shut off her computer and not log back to check her emails. She now checks in with herself to see how she is feeling and what needs to be prioritized. Her husband has noticed that Amanda is more present and that she is now more helpful around the house instead of burying herself in work.
