MY NAME IS
Taylor
AND THIS IS MY STORY…
Assistant Professor
She’d done other work through other groups and has a Ph.D. in Leadership, but she hadn’t gotten to the root. She was still feeling frustrated, isolated, overwhelmed and tired while living in burnout. Taylor knew something was missing.
CHALLENGES
When Taylor joined our community, her biggest concern was her patterns of people pleasing, taking on way too much, and struggling with negative self-talk.
She said when she first saw our ad, she wasn’t ready. She continued feeling burned out, staying super busy and advancing in her career teaching leadership at Boston University.
Her lifelong anxiety continued and her consistently jam-packed schedule was filled with work and teaching her students. It left her feeling depleted and like she was capping out.
Even through Taylor’s life was busy, she realized that her “her schedule is not going to slow down.”
Taylor affirms, “development is one of my top values in life for everyone including myself and if I didn’t prioritize myself I knew I wasn’t going to be able to reach the next level.”

RESULTS
Half a year passed before Taylor would book her breakthrough call with our team. She was done playing small and wanted to make a real change in her life. She wanted to stop living in her head and learn to live from the heart as well. The leader had to be willing to become a student again.
“I just decided now is not the best time and that’s exactly why it is the best time to prioritize me. I decided that this has to be a priority regardless of everything else on the calendar.”
Because she began consistently practicing the tools she learned in the program in her daily life, she started to see the positive effect immediately. Taylor began to respond rather than reactive.. She also learned to lead in a new way – not constantly putting out fires. She truly embodied her message.
She started navigating relationship challenges better and even decided to start her own company. Even during the whirlwind and initial planning phases of a business, her team recognized that she was more relaxed. Team members would ask her, “Taylor, how are you calm in the middle of the storm?”. Our practices have helped her rewire and relearn behaviors that were not in service to the life she wanted.
“This stuff is so helpful, compared to some of the therapists I’ve had just because what you’re getting out of your curriculum is the whole rewiring of your emotions, awareness of your body, how to be in relationship with yourself, and learning to coach yourself in hard moments, THAT is priceless,” stated Taylor.
Taylor transformed her approach to life by booking a call with our team. She learned a new way to be, to live, to lead, and to love. She trusted her intuition enough to explore the possibility that there was a better way to live. She took the time to put in the work and find herself so she can be that ripple in the world and lead in a sustainable way.
